શ્રી રઘુવીર ચૌધરીને `નર્મદ ઍવોર્ડ'

મહારાષ્ટ્ર રાજ્ય ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય અકાદમી દ્વારા તા. 24 ઑગસ્ટ, 2010ના રોજ પ્રથમ `નર્મદ ઍવોર્ડ' ડૉ. રધુવીર ચૌધરી અને શ્રી મધુ મંગેશ કાર્નિકને એનાયત કરવામાં આવશે.

ગિરનાર પુસ્તકનું લોકાર્પણ પૂજ્ય શ્રી મોરારી બાપુના વરદ હસ્તે

 `ગિરનાર' પુસ્તકનું લોકાર્પણ પૂજ્ય મોરારીબાપુના વરદ્ હસ્તે તા. 7 મે, 2009ના રોજ ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય પરિષદ, અમદાવાદના પ્રાંગણમાં થયું હતું. આ પુસ્તકમાં લેખકે કરેલી ગિરનારની પરિક્રમા અને ગિરનાર આરોહણનું વર્ણન છે. ગિરનાર પરનાં ધાર્મિક સ્થળો, ગીર અને ગિરનારની વન્ય સંપત્તિ, સાહિત્યમાં ગિરનાર, જૂનાગઢનાં જોવાલાયક સ્થળો, જૂનાગઢનો ઈતિહાસ, આરઝી હકૂમત તથા `હુ હુ' નવલકથા વિશેના લેખોનો પુસ્તકમાં સમાવેશ થાય છે.

`સંજીવની' પ્રકાશન દ્વારા આયોજીત કાર્યક્રમમાં શ્રી પન્નાલાલ પટેલની ટૂંકી વાર્તા વિશે શ્રી લાભશંકર ઠાકર, શ્રી ભોળાભાઈ પટેલ, શ્રી રમેશ ર. દવે તેમ જ પૂજ્ય મોરારી બાપુએ મનનીય પ્રવચનો કર્યાં હતાં.

Book on Girnar released by Pujya Shri Morari Bapu

Pujya Shri Morari Bapu released the book on May 7, 2009 at Ahmedabad during the function on a well known Gujarati creative writer Late Shri Pannalal Patel.The book is authored by Shri Sanjay Chaudhary. Book on Girnar is a travelogue narrating experiences of author during Girnar Parikrama of (circular walk around) spiritual and religious hill of Girnar. The book contains articles on Girnar, wild heritage and life of Girnar and Gir forest, religious places on the top of Girnar, literary articles on Girnar, famous places of Junagadh city, history of Junagadh city, and criticism of a Gujarati novel `Hoo Hoo'. Shri Labhshanker Thaker, Shri Bholabhai Patel and Shri Ramesh Dave and Pujya Morari Bapu delivered  interesting talks on short stories by Shri Pannalal Patel. The function was organized by `Sanjivani' at Gujarati Sahistya Parishad, Ahmedabad.
